Effects of Water-Retaining Agent Dosages on Slope-Protection Plants and Soil Nutrients on Rocky Slopes

Rocky slopes lack the necessary conditions for plant growth, i.e., soil and water, making vegetation recovery difficult necessitating artificial establishment. Water-retaining agents are essential functional substances constructing on rocky slopes. In this study, effect of water-retaining growth nutrient loss was investigated by setting different application rates (10 g/m2, 20 30 40 50 g/m2). Artificially simulated slope were achieved using guest spraying technology after hanging net, which provided support agent. Results showed that contents extractable nitrogen (EN), phosphorus (EP), potassium (EK) in soil, number individuals per unit area, height, ground diameter agent treatment significantly higher than those control group (set up with no water retention as group, hereafter “CK”).
